John Carroll

John Carroll

John was born and raised in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and went to school at Union University and MTSU. While growing up, John dreamed of being a politician and going to law school. A friend challenged him to learn the Bible before going to learn law, so John moved to Denton, Texas to study under Tom Nelson for a year. One year turned into four years of serving at Denton Bible Church and then Sky Ranch Christian Camps.

John fell in love with the Church while in Texas and wanted to be apart of planting one with Fellowship Memphis. He took a job in Memphis with Ugly Mug Coffee and worked there for two years while serving the church as a layman. In 2006, John could not resist his desire to work everyday on staff with a church. He asked the leadership of Fellowship to train him and prepare him for a lifetime of church leadership. He joined the staff of Fellowship as a Resident Pastor, where he served for three years. During the same time he obtained his Masters of Christian Studies from Union University.

John currently serves as a Pastor of Fellowship Downtown, the Residency Director, the Lead for Communications, and as head of Fellowship's Central Services.

Carroll FamilyJohn and Ashleigh were married in March of 2003 and they have three children; JAC (5), Charis (3), Abigail (3), and Jones (1). They live in Downtown Memphis, specifically in the Uptown Community.
