A New Chapter for Fellowship Memphis

Two years ago our elder team made the decision to go multi-site. What this means is that instead of being one church in one location that adds more and more people (and then services), we wanted to extend the reach of our influence around the greater Memphis area, by constantly spinning off new sites, or what we would call outposts. These outposts are not their own churches, but are all considered to be under the Fellowship Memphis umbrella with the same teaching team, philosophy of ministry, and under the same unified elder board. Our second outpost was launched in August of 2009 in Downtown Memphis (Fellowship Downtown), and we’re in the process of launching our third location, prayerfully in the next 12-15 months, out east in the Germantown/Collierville area.

If you live out east and would be interested in coming to an informational meeting where you’ll hear more details about the vision and launch of Fellowship East, please indicate your interest by filling out the card attached to the worship guide on Sunday morning. The meeting date and time are to be determined. Maybe you don’t live out east, but have a desire to help us pioneer something new, you know, to shake things up a bit, we’d love to have you on board, so please feel free to come to the meeting as well. These are exciting days for Fellowship Memphis, and we’re filled with anticipation as we prayerfully start this next outpost.
