FSM is Going to Camp

As Director of Student Ministries, I simply love camp. I love seeing the students play in the sun, catch some waves, and worship on the beach. I love seeing them stay up way past curfew talking about life. I love seeing students let their “guard down” for a week to be real with what God is doing in their heart. I love seeing our group of diverse students get puzzling looks when people realize we are all part of the same church. I love the unity camp creates. I love the fun we have eating Dippin’ Dots (the ice cream that has been the ice cream of the future for 20 years) at midnight after we begged the store to remain open for us. I love seeing students learn about the Bible with their peers, actually rest from the business of life, and play silly games together. Camp is hard to articulate and hard to measure in a tangible way, but it just may be the single most important week each year to deposit truth and life into the students. We are going again this year! We will travel to Laguna Beach, FL July 16-22 in search of some fun, sand, sun, and most importantly the heart of God.
Students, please join us. Parents, encourage your students go. Fellowship family, help send us. For details, to sign up, or to make a donation to send a student, please email me at .
