Lead Pastor Search Update - September 2023

Dear Congregation,

I want to provide you with a brief update on our lead pastor search. Our search committee has been hard at work over the past several months, conducting multiple interviews with over 10 candidates. We have made significant progress in our search, but there are some important developments to share.

First, I’m pleased to inform you that one candidate is still in the process and is showing potential. The committee is continuing to evaluate this candidate closely and conducting further discussions.

Additionally, we have several other candidates in the pipeline who are still being considered for initial interviews. These individuals have shown promise and alignment with the values and vision of our congregation. The committee is diligently reviewing their qualifications and conducting additional interviews as needed.

We understand this process requires time and careful consideration, and we want to assure you that we are committed to praying and asking to hear God’s confirmation while seeking to find the best candidate to lead our congregation into the next season. Please continue to keep the search committee, the candidates, and our congregation in your prayers as we traverse this journey. We will keep you updated as the process unfolds, and we remain optimistic about the future of our church.
