About Fellowship Downtown from John Carroll...
"Fellowship Memphis was built on the hopes of 27 people wanting to reach a city for the glory of God. Six years ago Bryan, JB, and Ben came to Memphis casting the vision for Fellowship and they would say, 'Memphis doesn't need another church, there are 2,000 churches in Memphis. But Memphis sure could use a church like what we dream Fellowship is capable of becoming.' Today, you all, Fellowship Memphis, are a testimony to the truth of that vision.
That vision of Fellowship is for the greater Memphis area, and we are now tasting the first fruits, but that vision will not bring in a harvest in every corner of the city unless we divide and conquer. We dream of taking this general vision for our city and focusing it on specific parts of town...in this case - Downtown.
Having gone from visitor, to member, to volunteer, to staff, to now a Pastor...I am honored to be called upon by our elders to lead the effort of starting this site of Fellowship Memphis. I am asking each of you to consider two things. One...Would you consider supporting the Engage Memphis Fund to help us launch Fellowship Downtown. And Two...I would love each of you who live in or around Downtown to consider joining me and my family as we pioneer Fellowship Downtown with the same faith, hope, and love that built Fellowship Memphis."
