Downtown Elementary
We are excited to announce that Memphis City Schools has agreed to rent us Downtown Elementary School on a weekly basis for our Sunday gatherings.
Downtown Elementary is a beautiful facility located in the heart of Downtown. Only six years old, the facility is extremely nice and meets all three of our main needs almost perfectly.
Meeting Space: The building has a large auditorium, that is also used as a cafeteria and gymnasium during the week.
Parking: Downtown land is a premium, and parking is usually expensive. The school has its own parking lot and the streets around the building provide dozens of more spaces. Many of them are metered spots, but meters are free on the weekends!
Children Space: This was the hardest piece of the puzzle when looking for a place for us Downtown. Being an elementary school, this facility is absolutely perfect for us. We plan to utilize the schools Pre-K and Kindergarten wing for our children's space.
