Fellowship Kids

Fellowship Kids serve children from infants to fifth grade. We use a creative approach to encourage children to experience God's love and explore questions together like... How do I love others? How does God answer prayers? How do I feel His presence? How do I glorify Him each day? Each classroom consists of one lead teacher, a parent volunteer, and a story teller. The children participate with a Worship Leader in Children's Praise and Worship time. We use John Piper's, Children Desiring God curriculum and Godly Play's model that allows for exciting ways to draw young children to participate in the story. The children have an opportunity to "wonder" and reflect truths they experienced in the story. Then, they are invited to respond to the story by creating individual artwork based on their understanding and personal meaning. A nutritious snack is provided each week as we share God's blessings as a community. As Deuteronomy 6 states parents are the primary teachers of their children. As Fellowship Kids Leaders, we want to affirm and support parents in your journey as you nurture and encourage your child's faith. Come join us as we seek God and enjoy His presence in our lives! |
