Residency & Internships
The Residency & Internship Programs are training and proving grounds for emerging church leaders. During your time, you will accumulate valuable experience, mentors, and knowledge that will prepare you for stepping into the next phase of church leadership.
Our Residency & Internship Programs follow the acronym R.A.I.L.
- Recruit Residents & Interns
- Align them with ministry roles at Fellowship
- Invest in them during their time at Fellowship
- Launch them into their next season of ministry
The Residency Program is typically a two to four year commitment that is sometimes coupled with the resident's personal pursuit of a seminary, masters, or doctoral degree. Residents experience growing levels of responsibility in leading areas and ministries of Fellowship during their time. The ideal candidate is confident in their desire to lead a local church or non-profit ministry vocationally.
The Internship Program is typically as short as a season up to a year of ministry commitment with Fellowship. Interns assist in day-to-day ministry needs and work closely with the Fellowship Staff and Volunteers. The ideal candidate is interested in learning more about what it would be like to pursue a vocational ministry role.
Residents & Interns will gain experience in the following areas:
- Instructional Leadership Training
- Event Planning & Execution
- Volunteer Recruitment & Management
- Spiritual Growth & Counseling
- Occupational Team Work Development
We also put a high emphasis on self discovery during both programs. We will attempt to give you a 360 degree view of yourself to better equip you in making decisions about future ministry and life opportunities in the future.
