
Brian Crenshaw - Jr. and Sr. High Ministry Director
Brian was born in Newbern, TN. He attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Education with a focus in Human Services. While at UT he was involved with Campus Crusade for Christ where he grew in his walk with Christ and passion for ministry. He met his wife Erin at UT. Erin and Brian were both involved in the foster care system and inner-city ministries during college where they developed a passion to live in and serve in an urban inner-city neighborhood.
After marriage the Crenshaws lived in Nashville. Brian worked in the corporate insurance industry while Erin worked as a special education teacher. In July 2003 the Crenshaws moved to Memphis to serve as part of the launch of Fellowship Memphis and to move into one of Memphis’ most challenged inner-city neighborhoods, Binghampton.
Brian works as Director of Properties for the Binghampton Development Corporation which is a non-profit housing developer in the Binghampton neighborhood. Brian joined the Fellowship staff part-time in August 2005 as the Director of Student Ministries. He and Erin have a deep passion for racial and socioeconomic diversity and for discipleship within a youth setting. The Crenshaw’s have a three-year-old son Austin and a one-year-old girl named Olivia.
